Two fashion-calendar anchors
The PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival ran from 14–28 February 2026. Its 30th-anniversary programme included 12 Premium Runways, an Independent Programme and a broader mix of fashion events.
Melbourne Fashion Week returns from 19–25 October 2026 with runways, talks, exhibitions and workshops across the city. Together, February and October give Melbourne two public peaks inside a broader year-round market.

Directory in Melbourne
The Directory currently lists 13 published local organisations: 9 modeling agencies and 4 casting companies. Use it for contacts and application routes; this guide remains the place for market context.
From design school to runway
Melbourne’s fashion pipeline is not limited to agencies. RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles links study to public industry showcases, and the university lists both Melbourne Fashion Week and the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival National Graduate Showcase among the platforms where students and graduates present work. Emerging design stays visible alongside established labels.

Commercial work sits beside runway
Runway is only one side of the market. Brooklyn MGMT works across e-commerce, campaign and TVC briefs, while WINK lists eCommerce, lookbooks, online video, social/UGC and fit modelling for its Melbourne talent. VicScreen also highlights Melbourne studios built for TVCs, photography, film and content creation.
